During an action to correct the poor statistics of young drivers getting killed or seriously injured on our roads the Road Safety Authority created the Essential Driver Training Syllabus.
The Essential Driver Training syllabus requires that 12 structured driving lessons must be carried out, rubber-stamped and submitted to the RSA website by an approved driving instructor.
In an effort to decrease accidents and plug the evident driving skills gap that many new motorists were missing, the 12 lesson syllabus was created.
