RSA School of Motoring Cabinteely
Cabinteely learners can choose a single hour, an EDT package or tuition before a driving test. We teach manual and automatic. Tell us what you have completed and what you need help with before choosing the next booking.
Manual driving lessons Cabinteely
Manual tuition helps you use the clutch and gears without losing track of the road. Your instructor can explain a sequence, then help you practise until the movements make sense. If one part keeps causing trouble, work on that task before adding more.

With automatic driving lessons, there is no manual clutch pedal or gear selection to learn. It is an option from the start of your tuition. You will still practise observation and positioning, with feedback on the choices you make as you drive.

An RSA guide to the EDT
Our twelve-session EDT package includes the standard twelve one-hour sessions. You can also book smaller blocks when continuing a course. Bring your logbook and tell us about any sessions already completed with another instructor.
Ask what you should practise after each lesson and how you can tell whether it is improving. Explain any limits on supervised practice between appointments. Your next lesson can then build on what you have actually done.

Pre-test tuition gives you a check of your driving and feedback before the appointment. Dun Laoghaire/Deansgrange is a current RSA directory listing. Use the exact venue from your booking and mention any need for a test car when enquiring.

Choose RSA School of Motoring for your driving lessons in Cabinteely
Because not all Cabinteely driving schools are made equal. The Cabinteely Library building is on Old Bray Road in the village. That identifies the area, but your full address helps when agreeing a lesson start. Include the time you will be ready and whether you need to finish elsewhere.

The EDT: a guide
You can ask our driving school about a lesson before committing to further hours. Explain your level and the driving you want to become comfortable doing. The instructor's feedback can help you decide what to book next.

How much do driving lessons in Cabinteely cost?
Our current advertised price is €53.27 for a one-hour manual lesson and €61.41 for a one-hour automatic lesson. The twelve-lesson EDT package is €587.95 in manual or €659.24 in automatic, with twelve one-hour sessions. Lessons include an ADI-registered instructor, a dual-controlled car and agreed local pickup. We check instructor availability and agree the pickup point before booking in Cabinteely. See current lesson prices and packages.
Can I book lessons after using another instructor?
Yes. Tell us about your experience and bring your EDT logbook. We can discuss the sessions still needed and any skills you want to work on.
Can the lesson finish at a different address?
Ask about both addresses before booking. The instructor will need to agree the arrangement and available lesson time.
Should I book manual or automatic if I have never driven?
Think about the car you expect to use once qualified. Both options are available. A test passed in an automatic gives a licence restricted to automatic cars.
