The Drogheda test centre sits on the Donore Road on the south side of town, near the southern approach roads off the N1 corridor. The Dundalk centre sits off the Carrickmacross Road on the western edge of town, near the Carrickmacross approach.

County Louth has two driving test centres: Dundalk and Drogheda. Dundalk is at Newry Road, Dundalk, A91 RY8X. Drogheda is at Drogheda Football Club, Marian Park, Drogheda, A92 EY49. Your pretest lesson runs on the roads around the centre you book. Confirm your test appointment on the official RSA booking system.

A single manual lesson is €53.27. The full 12-lesson EDT package is €587.95, which works out at €49.00 a lesson. Automatic starts at €61.41 for one lesson or €659.24 for twelve. Prices are the same in every Leinster county.
Yes. The pretest lesson includes car hire for the test, so you sit it in the same dual-controlled car you practised in. A manual pretest is €183.63 and an automatic pretest is €193.81.
Yes, at every package level. A test passed in an automatic gives a Code 78 licence, limited to automatic cars. Same instructors, same free pick-up anywhere in County Louth.
Where the rota allows, yes. Mention it on the form and we will match you with the nearest female instructor. If none is free in your area that week, we say so up front.
Five. South on the N1 corridor to Dublin. North on the N1 corridor to the border at Newry. West on the N52 to Ardee and Mullingar. West on the N53 to Castleblayney. East on the R173 onto the Cooley Peninsula. Later lessons cover the ones you will use.
