Driving lessons in Kilternan begin with a discussion about what you need from the car. That might be basic control, the next EDT session or test preparation. With our Leinster school you can check the available options and agree a suitable lesson start.
Manual tuition combines clutch and gear work with the decisions every driver needs. It suits learners who want to drive a manual car. Let your instructor know if you've only practised in short sessions. They'll need an honest picture of what feels familiar.

Our automatic driving sessions let you focus on speed and position without changing gears yourself. You still learn how to assess gaps and respond to other road users. Tell us your preferred days and starting area so we can check the booking options.

EDT has twelve one-hour lessons for those taking the full course. Each topic builds part of the skill you need for safe driving. Bring your permit and training record so your instructor can plan from your actual progress.
The EDT lesson breakdown explains what each session covers and helps you prepare questions before attending. Ask which part needs practice between lessons. If a skill still needs prompting, give it more attention before adding another demand.
Pre-test tuition gives you feedback on readiness before the booked appointment. Send us the centre name and date when asking about a session. Dun Laoghaire/Deansgrange is listed by the RSA; use the location on your own confirmation when planning the day.
