RSA School of Motoring Kimmage
Our Kimmage lessons help you build skills for the car you intend to drive. Choose manual or automatic, then tell us your experience and preferred times. You can discuss the next step with the RSA Leinster team before deciding which lesson or package suits you.
Manual driving lessons Kimmage
Manual lessons cover smooth clutch use, gear choice and observation together. If moving off needs work, say so at the start. Repeating a clear sequence with feedback can help you understand which movement needs adjusting.
Book manual lessons ↗Automatic driving lessons Kimmage
You can choose automatic tuition if you'd prefer to learn without operating a clutch, while keeping the same focus on safe decisions. Lessons cover controlled acceleration and braking as well as positioning. Check available times with us before planning a regular slot.

An RSA guide to the EDT
The twelve EDT sessions provide a structured course for learners who need the full programme. Each lesson has a topic to cover and discuss. Bring any completed record so your instructor can establish the next required session.
Practice is most useful when it has a clear aim. Ask which skill you should revisit with your sponsor before the next lesson. Note what felt settled and what still needed a reminder, then share that feedback.
Book your EDT lessons ↗Get ready to pass your Kimmage driving test
A pre-test driving lesson helps you check readiness and decide where to focus before your test. Send the booked centre and date when enquiring. If your appointment is at Tallaght, use that confirmation to plan the location. We can discuss suitable tuition arrangements around it.

Choose RSA School of Motoring for your driving lessons in Kimmage
Because not all Kimmage driving schools are made equal. Sundrive Road gives a clear reference for the Kimmage side of the area, with Eamonn Ceannt Park nearby. Tell us your actual starting street when you enquire. That lets us discuss the arrangements without treating a large park as a single meeting point.

The EDT: a guide
A useful lesson can change how early you notice a situation. Ask your instructor to explain the cue they saw, then look for it yourself. The aim is to make the decision with time to spare, even on a familiar street.
