Learn the RSA way you'll pass fast and pay less doing it.
Mount Merrion lessons can start with the controls or build towards a driving test. We offer manual and automatic tuition with feedback on your current driving. Tell us what you want to learn, where you'd prefer to meet and your available times.
Manual training develops clutch and gear control alongside planning and observation. It suits someone who expects to drive a manual car. Your instructor helps you find a repeatable routine, then practise it without needing every step prompted.
Book manual lessons ↗
Our automatic lessons and packages give you guided practice in an automatic car while you develop your road judgement. You'll learn how to control speed and position without manual gear changes. Bring questions about the car's controls, even if they seem small.
Book automatic lessons ↗Ask us about lesson availability and booking options for Mount Merrion. We can help you choose the next step for your experience level.
The full EDT course contains twelve one-hour sessions, each with a defined topic. Your instructor reviews your record and explains the session you're taking. If you've completed part of the course elsewhere, bring that record with you.
Ask how the session connects to your practice between lessons. A clear goal makes it easier to notice improvement. Tell your instructor what you managed to practise so the next appointment builds on it.
A pre-test driving assessment provides feedback while you still have time to act on it before the appointment. Share the centre and test date when enquiring. If your booking names Dun Laoghaire/Deansgrange, use its exact appointment address when planning.
Because not all Mount Merrion driving schools are made equal. Deerpark and Deerpark Road are useful names when explaining which part of Mount Merrion suits your lesson. Give us the street rather than just the park name. We'll agree a specific meeting place and confirm when you should be ready.
Choose your county ↗
You can plan the next stage with RSA School of Motoring by explaining what you can already do and where you'd like more guidance. Ask for a practical example when discussing progress. It helps turn general feedback into something you can use.
