RSA School of Motoring Rush
Learn to drive in Rush with our Leinster driving school and tuition that starts from your current experience. We offer manual and automatic tuition, full EDT packages and individual hours. Tell us whether you're starting fresh, continuing a course or getting ready for a test.
Manual driving lessons Rush
Our manual lessons give you guided practice with clutch control, gear changes and the decisions that go with them. You learn to prepare for a turn before reaching it. Your instructor can explain the sequence, then help you repeat it with less prompting.
Book manual lessons ↗Automatic driving lessons Rush
Choose automatic lessons if you want to learn without a clutch pedal or manual gear changes. You'll still practise looking ahead, controlling speed and leaving room for other people. One hour is an option if you'd like to try the transmission before choosing a package.

An RSA guide to the EDT
We teach the twelve one-hour EDT sessions and can discuss the hours you need if you've already started. Your logbook and MyEDT record show what is complete. Bring those details when planning the next part of the course.
Between lessons, practise the points your instructor has identified with a suitable sponsor. Keep a note of anything you want explained again. A short question at the next lesson can be more useful than repeating something you're unsure about.

Pre-test tuition helps you assess your driving and work on specific faults before test day. Finglas is listed in the current RSA directory. Confirm your own appointment location when enquiring, and mention any car-hire requirement so we can check both parts of the booking.

Your first booking doesn't have to commit you to a whole course. We can discuss a single lesson, a block or EDT based on your experience. If lessons need to fit around work or study, send the days that suit you when checking availability.
