Learn the RSA way you'll pass fast and pay less doing it.
Choose Sallynoggin lessons around your current level and the car you intend to drive. We offer manual and automatic, with single hours and packages. Send your preferred days and starting area so we can discuss the available options.
A manual lesson gives you practice using the controls alongside steering and observation. Your instructor can help you build a sequence for moving off, changing gear and stopping. Once those tasks become familiar, you can give more attention to decisions ahead.
Book manual lessons ↗
Our automatic driving tuition suits learners who want to drive an automatic car, whether starting fresh or moving from manual. The car takes care of gear changes. You still need to judge speed, space and position, and the instructor helps you work on those skills.
Book automatic lessons ↗Ask us about lesson availability and booking options for Sallynoggin. We can help you choose the next step for your experience level.
The standard EDT package has twelve one-hour sessions with an approved instructor. You can also discuss smaller blocks if some of the course is complete. Bring your logbook and check MyEDT so the next booking reflects the sessions already recorded.
In our EDT programme, feedback connects each session with the practice you do between appointments. Ask for a clear focus and explain how much supervised practice is available to you. That helps make the next lesson useful.
Pre-test tuition gives you an assessment and feedback before the appointment. Dun Laoghaire/Deansgrange is listed in the current RSA directory. Use the exact centre on your booking when enquiring, and mention any need for a test car.
Because not all Sallynoggin driving schools are made equal. Dublin College Sallynoggin, formerly Sallynoggin College of Further Education, is on Pearse Street. If you are fitting lessons around classes, give us the time you will be ready and your preferred starting address. The schedule and meeting point can then be checked together.
Choose your county ↗
When contacting our Leinster driving school, say whether you want to begin EDT, continue a course or work on a particular skill. You can discuss a single hour before choosing a package. Your experience should shape the booking.
The EDT: a guide ↗ Preparation for the driving test ↗Our current advertised price is €53.27 for a one-hour manual lesson and €61.41 for a one-hour automatic lesson. The twelve-lesson EDT package is €587.95 in manual or €659.24 in automatic, with twelve one-hour sessions. Lessons include an ADI-registered instructor, a dual-controlled car and agreed local pickup. We check instructor availability and agree the pickup point before booking in Sallynoggin. See current lesson prices and packages.
Send the days and times you can attend, allowing time to reach the agreed starting point. We will check instructor availability before confirming a lesson.
Yes. Bring your logbook and tell us which sessions are complete. Checking MyEDT can help clarify what has been uploaded before you choose further lessons.
Discuss the kind of car you expect to drive and any previous tuition. Both options are available. Passing a test in an automatic restricts the licence to automatic cars.
Tell us your Sallynoggin address, transmission and the days you can manage.
