RSA School of Motoring Terenure
Your next lesson should start with what you can already do. Our Terenure tuition covers complete beginners, learners continuing EDT and drivers preparing for a test. Choose manual or automatic and explain your recent experience. We can discuss a single hour or the package that fits your plans.
Manual driving lessons Terenure
Manual lessons give you guided practice with the clutch, gears and steering. Your instructor can help you combine those controls with earlier observation. If changing gear makes you lose track of the road, explain when it happens. That gives the lesson a specific point to work on.

Our automatic driving lessons are an option for learners who want to use an automatic car. You still learn to judge space, control speed and make safe decisions. Ask about a single hour if you want to discuss the transmission before choosing a package.

An RSA guide to the EDT
We offer EDT tuition for new learners and those completing an existing course. The standard programme has twelve one-hour sessions. Check your logbook and MyEDT record so the instructor can discuss the sessions you need, rather than assume you are starting again.
The gaps between lessons give you time to work on feedback. Agree a task with your instructor and practise with a suitable sponsor. Bring back the details of anything that felt unclear, rather than waiting until the end of the course.
Book your EDT lessons ↗Get ready to pass your Terenure driving test
A pre-test lesson checks your driving and gives feedback before the appointment. If your booking names Tallaght, include that detail when enquiring. Tell us how recently you have driven and whether you need a test car. The assessment should reflect your current preparation.

Choose RSA School of Motoring for your driving lessons in Terenure
Because not all Terenure driving schools are made equal. Terenure Library has a Templeogue Road address. Giving the road name as well as the landmark helps explain your preferred starting area. Include your own address when arranging tuition, especially if the lesson needs to fit around another commitment. The meeting point is agreed with your instructor.

The EDT: a guide
Tell our RSA School of Motoring team what you want the next lesson to achieve. You may need an introduction to the controls or a review after a break. Clear information about your starting level helps us discuss useful tuition and the hours to consider.

How much do driving lessons in Terenure cost?
Our current advertised price is €53.27 for a one-hour manual lesson and €61.41 for a one-hour automatic lesson. The twelve-lesson EDT package is €587.95 in manual or €659.24 in automatic, with twelve one-hour sessions. Lessons include an ADI-registered instructor, a dual-controlled car and agreed local pickup. Can I return to lessons after a long break?
Yes. Tell us when you last drove, your preferred transmission and any EDT sessions completed. An initial lesson can review your current level before further tuition is discussed.
Can I request a start near Terenure Library?
You can suggest it when enquiring. Give your preferred time and exact starting address too. We will check availability and agree the meeting arrangement; the library is not a fixed collection stop.
What information helps with a pre-test booking?
Share your test date, exact centre and recent driving experience. Include any previous fault sheet and say whether you need a test car as well as a lesson.
