RSA School of Motoring Celbridge
Celbridge's Main Street runs alongside the Liffey, with the Castletown gates at one end. The bridge gives the town another clear reference point. Tell us which side of the river you need to start from. We'll check availability and agree the meeting place before your lesson.

Manual driving lessons Celbridge
Clutch control is only useful when you can keep watching the road. If a turn off Main Street leaves you thinking about the gearstick, say so. Work on the controls at a suitable pace, then combine them with earlier observation. You don't need another rushed circuit of a familiar street.

An automatic removes manual gear changes from the task. It still leaves you responsible for position, speed and space. Around Celbridge, practise looking beyond the vehicle ahead before committing to a turn. Choose the transmission that fits the car you intend to drive, not a promise of an easier test.

An RSA guide to the EDT
The standard EDT programme has twelve one-hour sessions. Bring your logbook if you've already started elsewhere. Your instructor needs both that record and an honest account of your recent practice.
Agree one or two skills to practise between sessions with a suitable accompanying driver. If you keep missing a check near a junction, work on that approach. More miles aren't automatically better practice.

If you've booked at Mulhuddart, give us the exact venue and appointment date. The Old Navan Road centre is outside Celbridge. Preparation should use your current driving and any earlier fault sheet, not a promised examiner route.

Choose RSA School of Motoring for your driving lessons in Celbridge
Because not all Celbridge driving schools are made equal. Castletown and the Liffey help explain which part of Celbridge you mean. A landmark is a reference, not permission to stop or collect inside its grounds. Give an exact address when discussing your lesson so the meeting arrangement is clear.

The EDT: a guide
Before buying a block, count the EDT sessions you still need. Then consider the other skills that need work. A package total and the amount of practice you require are different questions.

How much do driving lessons in Celbridge cost?
Our current advertised price is €53.27 for a one-hour manual lesson and €61.41 for a one-hour automatic lesson. The twelve-lesson EDT package is €587.95 in manual or €659.24 in automatic, with twelve one-hour sessions. Lessons include an ADI-registered instructor, a dual-controlled car and agreed local pickup. We check instructor availability and agree the pickup point before booking in Celbridge. See current lesson prices and packages.
Can I finish EDT in Celbridge after starting elsewhere?
Bring your existing logbook and explain which sessions you've completed. The instructor needs to check the record and your current driving before planning the remaining lessons.
Should I choose manual or automatic lessons?
Consider the car you expect to drive. Passing in an automatic restricts the licence to automatic cars. Manual lessons include clutch and gear control; automatic lessons still require the same care with observation and road position.
Can I arrange lessons from either side of the Liffey?
Give your exact Celbridge address when enquiring. We can check instructor availability and a suitable meeting arrangement. Naming the town or Castletown alone does not confirm collection or a lesson time.
