Manual driving lessons Athlone
Most Athlone learners start in a manual, and passing in one covers you for manual and automatic cars. The first lessons stay on quieter streets like Pearse Street. Once the clutch stops being the main event, we move out to Athlone Bypass.

Automatic takes the clutch out of it, which helps on Athlone Bypass at busy times. A test passed in an automatic gives a Code 78 licence, limited to automatic cars. Same instructor, same free pick-up in Athlone.

Once you're matched, your lessons sit on our booking platform. You see what's next, move a lesson when you need to, and get a reminder before each one.
An RSA guide to the EDT
Before you sit the driving test you need all twelve EDT lessons, each one stamped in your logbook. Your Athlone instructor works through them in order, starting on Pearse Street and building up to Athlone Bypass.
By the last few lessons you're driving the roads around the Athlone test centre, so the approach is familiar long before the day itself.
