Manual tuition covers clutch control and gear choice alongside the checks that keep each movement safe. It suits learners who intend to drive a manual car. If you have access to one for supervised practice, tell your instructor so the advice is relevant.
Book manual lessons ↗
Our automatic tuition service let you learn without a manual clutch, leaving you to practise speed control and sound decisions. They can suit beginners or people changing transmission. Share your available days so we can check the instructor options before booking.

EDT is a twelve-session course for learners who need the full programme. Each one-hour lesson has a specific learning goal. Bring your permit and earlier training record so your instructor can check which session comes next.
The EDT session guide explains the topics in advance and gives you a chance to prepare useful questions. After each lesson, ask which point to practise with your sponsor. Bring back any task that still feels uncertain.
Pre-test tuition provides feedback on how you're driving before the appointment. Send your booked centre, date and transmission when enquiring. If your confirmation names Gorey, use its exact address when planning the day. Ask about a session early enough to work on the feedback.
Because not all Hollyfort driving schools are made equal. Killinierin Road and Monaseed Road are named approaches in Hollyfort, where St John's Church is a village landmark. Include your actual address when contacting us, particularly if you're outside the centre. We'll agree a practical lesson start with you.
Choose your county ↗
Use your lesson to connect an observation with the choice that follows it. Ask what you should be looking for before adjusting your speed or position. That gives supervised practice a purpose beyond simply covering more distance.
