Learn the RSA way you'll pass fast and pay less doing it.
Most Rathfarnham learners start in a manual, and passing in one covers you for manual and automatic cars. The first lessons stay on quieter streets like Fortfield Road. Once the clutch stops being the main event, we move out to Tallaght Bypass.

Automatic takes the clutch out of it, which helps on Tallaght Bypass at busy times. A test passed in an automatic gives a Code 78 licence, limited to automatic cars. Same instructor, same free pick-up in Rathfarnham.
Book automatic lessons ↗Once you're matched, your lessons sit on our booking platform. You see what's next, move a lesson when you need to, and get a reminder before each one.
Before you sit the driving test you need all twelve EDT lessons, each one stamped in your logbook. Your Rathfarnham instructor works through them in order, starting on Fortfield Road and building up to Tallaght Bypass.
By the last few lessons you're driving the roads around the Churchtown test centre, so the approach is familiar long before the day itself.
Once the EDT is done, it's on to test preparation. The nearest centre to Rathfarnham is Churchtown, 3.2 km and about 7 minutes by road. Pretest lessons run on the roads around it, and you sit the test in the car you practised in. If Tallaght has an earlier date, we cover those routes too.
