Learn the RSA way you'll pass fast and pay less doing it.
Most Kells learners start in a manual, and passing in one covers you for manual and automatic cars. The first lessons stay on quieter streets like Church Lane. Once the clutch stops being the main event, we move out to Kells Bypass.
Book manual lessons ↗
Automatic takes the clutch out of it, which helps on Kells Bypass at busy times. A test passed in an automatic gives a Code 78 licence, limited to automatic cars. Same instructor, same free pick-up in Kells.
Book automatic lessons ↗Once you're matched, your lessons sit on our booking platform. You see what's next, move a lesson when you need to, and get a reminder before each one.
Before you sit the driving test you need all twelve EDT lessons, each one stamped in your logbook. Your Kells instructor works through them in order, starting on Church Lane and building up to Kells Bypass.
By the last few lessons you're driving the roads around the Navan test centre, so the approach is familiar long before the day itself.
Once the EDT is done, it's on to test preparation. The nearest centre to Kells is Navan, 22.6 km and about 18 minutes by road. Pretest lessons run on the roads around it, and you sit the test in the car you practised in. If Drogheda has an earlier date, we cover those routes too.
Because not all Kells driving schools are made equal. Our County Meath instructors cover Kells and the towns around it, including Navan, Carlanstown and Athboy. Pick-up is free from home, work or college, or meet us near St Columba's Church and Round Tower.
