Manual driving lessons Navan
Most Navan learners start in a manual, and passing in one covers you for manual and automatic cars. The first lessons stay on quieter streets like Metges Lane. Once the clutch stops being the main event, we move out to Inner Relief Road.

Automatic driving lessons Navan
Automatic takes the clutch out of it, which helps on Inner Relief Road at busy times. A test passed in an automatic gives a Code 78 licence, limited to automatic cars. Same instructor, same free pick-up in Navan.

Once you're matched, your lessons sit on our booking platform. You see what's next, move a lesson when you need to, and get a reminder before each one.
An RSA guide to the EDT
Before you sit the driving test you need all twelve EDT lessons, each one stamped in your logbook. Your Navan instructor works through them in order, starting on Metges Lane and building up to Inner Relief Road.
By the last few lessons you're driving the roads around the Navan test centre, so the approach is familiar long before the day itself.
Get ready to pass your Navan driving test
Once the EDT is done, it's on to test preparation. The nearest centre to Navan is Navan, 3.7 km and about 6 minutes by road. Pretest lessons run on the roads around it, and you sit the test in the car you practised in. If Drogheda has an earlier date, we cover those routes too.
