Learn the RSA way you'll pass fast and pay less doing it.
Our Leinster driving lessons cover first lessons, continuing EDT and preparation for the driving test. In Sandyford, tell us whether you want to start near home or work. Your address, transmission and available times help us check the right arrangement.
Manual tuition gives you practice using the controls while making decisions about the road ahead. Your instructor can help you bring steering, gears and observation together. Explain any earlier lessons so the next hour starts at a useful level for you.
Book manual lessons ↗
Choose tuition in an automatic car if you plan to drive an automatic car or want to change from manual lessons. You can begin with one hour. The lesson focuses on using the controls and making safe decisions, without manual gear changes to manage.
Book automatic lessons ↗Ask us about lesson availability and booking options for Sandyford. We can help you choose the next step for your experience level.
The full EDT package contains twelve one-hour sessions with an approved instructor. If you have started elsewhere, bring your logbook and tell us which sessions remain. Individual hours and smaller packages can be discussed around that record.
Use the end of each lesson to ask what needs practice next. A short, clear task is easier to carry into supervised practice. Let your instructor know if you have limited access to a car or sponsor.
Our pre-test preparation gives you an assessment and feedback before your test appointment. Dun Laoghaire/Deansgrange is listed in the current RSA directory. Confirm your exact venue when enquiring and mention whether you need a test car as well as tuition.
Because not all Sandyford driving schools are made equal. Sandyford village on Sandyford Road is distinct from the business district, which includes Sandyford Business Park and Central Park. Use your street or building address when arranging lessons. The name Sandyford alone leaves several possible starting areas.

Choose your county ↗
If driving will help with a regular journey, explain that goal to your instructor. It can help clarify the skills you want to build. The lesson still needs to match your current level, with useful feedback before you decide on more hours.
The EDT: a guide ↗ Preparation for the driving test ↗Our current advertised price is €53.27 for a one-hour manual lesson and €61.41 for a one-hour automatic lesson. The twelve-lesson EDT package is €587.95 in manual or €659.24 in automatic, with twelve one-hour sessions. Lessons include an ADI-registered instructor, a dual-controlled car and agreed local pickup. We check instructor availability and agree the pickup point before booking in Sandyford. See current lesson prices and packages.
Send the building address and the time you will be available. Local pickup can be agreed with the instructor after the schedule and starting point are checked.
Give the full address where you want to start. Sandyford village and the business district cover different areas, so a street or building name helps confirm the arrangement.
Tell us which sessions are recorded and bring your logbook. We can discuss automatic tuition for the remaining course. Passing the test in an automatic restricts the licence to automatic cars.
Tell us your Sandyford home or work address and the times you can attend.
